EV Charger Installation
Level 2 home charging, installed right, often the same day.
Tesla Wall Connector, ChargePoint, Emporia, Wallbox or any Level 2 charger. We run the dedicated 240-volt circuit, mount the unit where you actually park, handle the permit, and confirm your panel can carry the load. New EV charger installations are 15% off.

Reviews
What customers say after the job is done.
This company is exceptional. From a very reasonable price to quick responses and service to great quality of work.
My sub panel burned out. Secure Electric was the most affordable company. They were local and came out the same day.
Vic is our hero. Our lights had been flickering throughout the house, which is never a good thing.

FAQ
EV Chargers: questions, answered
Still have a question? Call (818) 619-3566 and a real electrician will answer.
Should I hardwire the charger or install a NEMA 14-50 outlet?
Hardwiring is cleaner, weather-resistant and required for some chargers to run at full power. A 14-50 outlet is flexible if you may swap chargers later. We'll recommend the right option for your car and setup.
Will my panel handle an EV charger?
Often yes. We run a load calculation on every install. If your panel is at capacity, options include a load-management device, a sub-panel or a 200-amp upgrade, and we'll explain the trade-offs before you commit.
How long does an EV charger install take?
A typical install with the panel nearby takes 2 to 4 hours. Longer runs across the house or through attics take a bit more. Most jobs are completed in a single visit.
Are there rebates for home EV chargers?
Many local utilities and the state offer rebates for permitted Level 2 charger installs. Rebate programs change often, so ask us about what's currently available for your address.
